This book is on asking for forgiveness. Annie wants to be elected as a model student, so she did favors for her classmates as long as they, in turn, voted for her. Her mother found out and was angry. She taught Annie that it was not a fair election, so she should apologize to the classmates. She said it would be too embarassing to do so. Her mother told her that it is more embarrassing if you make a mistake and do not confess and correct it. If you do confess and correct it, you are a very brave child. So she did it and every one applauded her for her brave behavior.
