This film has also been shown in many crusades in North America and Southeast Asia and has converted many souls. Thousands of VCDs have been brought to China. China Confession re-traces the first 2500 years of Chinese religious history to worship of the one and only God. It then shows the changes during the Spring and Fall Periods. It also shows the latter 2500 years of the China's fate and contrasts the darkness of Chinese attempts at self-rescue and the glory from the Logos. It presents China's confusion and painful searching after the Opium War and the lessons from the recent 50 years, its calamities and ways out. After watching these videos, I gave a long sigh -- China originally belonged to God, but foolishness and rebellion turned China away from God. Since then, the Chinese people have given their foolish loyalty to corrupt leaders instead of the true God. The result is that people suffer greatly. This series may be objectionable to some "nationalists" for it opens the wounds of Chinese history. The author has the God-given burden to open the wounds and look for the cause instead of just covering them. This abridged gospel edition with Mandarin narration and Chinese and English subtitles (90 minutes) is for English-speaking viewers.
