Challenging a world of doubters
During the tumultuous years following World War II, Francis and Edith Schaeffer set out for Europe as missionaries. There in Switzerland in 1955 they founded L'Abri Fellowship, a refuge and study center for people seeking to understand the meaning of life. The world-renowned ministry of the Schaeffer's at L'Abri provided answers both to weighty intellectual doubts and the everyday challenges of the Christian life. Through the witness of transformed lives, answered prayer and honest answers to honest questions, the Schaeffers helped young people from diverse cultures and religions grasp the reality o God's existence. Since Dr. Schaeffer's death in 1984, Edith has continued ministering around the world as a missionary, speaker, and writer.
The inspiring story of how God worked through both strength and weakness to enlighten and transform a whole generation of Christians.
